SEA Alumnus, Candidate for Monterey County Supervisor

Steve McShane, a proud graduate of the Sacramento Entrepreneurship Academy, is running for Monterey County District 4 Supervisor in the 2020 elections.

Steve is standing for Monterey County, and is leading the effort to build a vibrant, sustainable local economy - with good-paying local jobs. He combines two of his passions: Sustainable farming and protecting the natural beauty of Monterey County as co-owner of the ag-tech company, Converted Organics. Steve also runs McShanes Landscape Supply.

A three-term councilmember serving South Salinas, Steve McShane made his name with his energy, honesty, and commitment to his community. In more than 2 decades of public service, Steve has served on elected and appointed posts including the Chair of the Salinas Planning Commission, serving on the city’s Traffic and Transportation Commission, and several terms on the boards of Hartnell Community College, Meals on Wheels, and Habitat for Humanity.
