Seeking Associate Consultant (East Bay)

Position Summary:

As an Associate Consultant, you will become an expert in the complex reimbursement methodology between hospital systems and insurance companies. Associates are assigned to projects based on past experience as well as professional interests, and work closely with Senior Associates on the revenue recovery process from start to finish. As an Associate, you will learn the foundations of Boost’s coordinated and targeted approach to recovering revenue and improving overall revenue cycle performance. You will also have the opportunity to attend quarterly client meetings and present high-impact findings to hospital CFOs and leadership teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Review contractual agreements between hospitals and insurance companies to ensure revenue cycle integrity of medical facilities

  • Perform analysis on large data sets and identify underpayment and denial trends

  • Coordinate calls, emails and written appeals with both government and commercial payers to recover underpayments

  • Conduct research on current laws and regulations pertaining to hospital reimbursement methodology

  • Regularly produce summaries of findings for management and clients

Position Qualifications:

  • Undergraduate Degree 

  • Preferred GPA 3.0 or above
