SEA 2019 Entrepreneurial Leadership - Mia Kagianas

The Sacramento Entrepreneurship Academy proudly recognizes outstanding Fellow graduate Mia Kagianas, as a 2019 recipient of the coveted James R. Corbett Founder's Award for Entrepreneurial Leadership.

Mia Kagianas shares: “I became a Sacramento Entrepreneurship Academy (SEA) 2019 fellow to seek the truth and hardships that come with leading an idea to fruition in a startup environment. This fellowship challenged me to innovate novel ideas, validate a value proposition, and introduce a business plan and financial projections for public opinion. My time in the academy showed me what it takes to be a gritty and scrappy business leader. I feel blessed to have gained a tremendous family of change makers in the process. Thank you to Christy Serrato, Buddy Hubbert, Laurie Dakin for emboldening and mentoring me and my team. Deanna Daly for recommending me for this program, and special thanks to James R. Corbett for founding the academy and inspiring innovation in our region. It's a privilege to accept the Founder's Award for Entrepreneurial Leadership.”
