As we celebrate Women’s History Month, SEA Program Director & founding Fellow Christy Serrato reflects on the value of representation and the impact of role models, “Women entrepreneurs should have the same opportunity to learn about others before them who have made a difference. I saw the adversity that other women innovators overcame and how their accomplishments improved the world. I took those lessons to change my outlook and embraced the unique challenges I faced in whatever industry I was in - electronic publishing, commercial finance, and IT security .”
