SEA alum venture goes “Sideways”
Pair Anything, Inc. brings its UC Davis Big Bang! innovation to “one of the coolest grape regions in California,” home to 100+ unique wineries and tasting rooms. The Davis-based company is partnering with pioneers in Santa Barbara Wine Country, which is quite literally “Sideways”. The wine movie title hints at the region’s unique geography – the longest transverse valley (East to West) found on the western Pacific coast.
A winery notably featured in the iconic movie, Fiddlehead Cellars, joins Pair Anything for its First Mover Advantage pilot program to share the award-winning mobile solution for wine lovers to connect with their favorite winery anywhere and anytime. “We are thrilled to support Kathy Joseph, one of the first female winemakers in Santa Barbara County,” says Christy Serrato, CEO & Founder of Pair Anything. “As fellow ‘Aggie Innovators’, our shared mission to transform the wine experience for the next generation consumers is a tribute to the university that is already internationally renowned for viticulture and enology innovation.”
