SEA Fellow finds inspiration

The Sacramento Entrepreneurship Academy presents top-notch speakers for our 2019 Program who adds the fuel to the entrepreneurial journey of SEA Fellows, like Mia Kagianas.

Only a short few weeks ago, Mark Randall, VP of Creativity at Adobe, told my cohort of entrepreneurship fellows at Sacramento Entrepreneurship Academy to "Keep flying the plane. Engine goes out? Keep flying the plane,” — something that is so challenging but necessary.

Mark’s candor was powerful, heartfelt, and emboldening. As a serial entrepreneur, he shared with us the realities of being a creative business mind and navigating shark infested waters. I don't yet know what it must have been like in his shoes, but I’m thankful for people like Mark and the SEA community for empowering me and the next generation of business leaders for when we step into those waters. However, I do know that Mark's lessons will continue to shape my leadership as I move forward.
